Winchester has a variety of different kinds of entertainment which are excellent for family holidays as there is something for mums and dads as well as plenty of family entertainment to keep the children entertained.

Many large hotels in the Winchester area have large entertainment rooms with dance floors and stages and some have function rooms for hire for private parties so you can organise your own entertainment for weddings, birthdays or anniversary celebrations.

Hotel function rooms usually have a bar and can include catering, DJ music and party activities, games or raffles. Hiring large function rooms in hotels is a great idea if you are planning a large party for over 50 people.

However, for smaller parties, there are many small hotels, guest houses and pubs and inns in the Winchester area that have small function rooms for hire.
