Pay Pal Are very, very careful re card payments and amounts. As you know we pass on transaction fees, we feel it is up to you how you pay (and what it costs you to pay in time and money)
Open up a Pay Pal account and prove your identity by linking to your bank account - it's cheaper! However, it does take a few days.
It only costs £3.50 in transaction fees by using the echeque payment method no matter how much you send - rather than the card payment method which attracts up to 3.4% in Pay Pal transaction charges.
Sadly, Pay Pal do not seem to "promote" the real (value) reason why people should open accounts - perhaps because if they did they would not make so much money in transaction fees - they are bankers after all!
Our American guests are really switched on to Pay Pal - some of our guests have paid £2000-£3000 for their months long accommodation using the eCheque payment method.
You might want to consider getting a Pay Pal account - as it is accepted worldwide and across the internet etc and allows for easy "foreign transactions" from you bank account. It takes a few days but can save you money and hassle with "limits" |
